Elisa is a female, 22 lbs, 7 months, spayed submissive dog.
Hi, I’m little Elisa. I was born as a stray. For some reason my native mother left me when I was a puppy. I was so scared and only dared to come out in mid night, searching any leftover in garage. I didn’t get too much chance to meet people ‘cause I hid myself very well in an abandoned warehouse. But sometimes I came across some stray cats and dogs. Maybe I was just too young; they didn’t mind if I was around, in fact, they were kind of looking after me. One night, a huge track came by, following two men. They chased after each one of us and caught us with violence. I and other doggie friends all ended up in a high kill shelter the next morning. I was labeled for people to adopt. 12 days past, no one came to claim me. In just few hours before I put to sleep, a phone call saved my life. A nice lady came to claim me in last minute to take me out of the hell. My rescuer is a very caring person. She takes good care of me even I am very skittish. She takes me out to walk and play every day, encourage me to open my heart to friendly people. Two months past, I am not as skittish as I used to be. I am very gentle and good with people and kids. Though I am still shy and scared but I never show any aggression to either one of them. I just need more time to get used to the busy street and noisy crowd. I am a mellow and quiet girl, love to cuddle with people I know. I enjoy gentle pets and watching TV with my foster mom on the couch. I also like my foster home’s doggie friends. We play hard with much laughter. If you don’t mind I’m a shy girl who needs more time and patience to make friend with, I’d like to be part of your family. My name is Elisa. I’m a shy but very sweet girl.
