Eloise was found in a scary situation. She was found in the wall of a parking garage of a residence and the vet said she was so emaciated she had probably been living in there almost 2 months. When she was rescued, she was so weak but came out and went to people for attention, rubbing up against their legs and wanting to be held and pet. They fed her and she gobbled it up but immediately threw it up as her body was no longer able to handle food and water. The vet kept her on sub Q fluids for a week and had to syringe feed her because food was making her sick. She was dying from Fatty Liver Disease, her body was eating itself. Luckily, she came around after 4 weeks of syringe feeding and lots of medicine and has completely recovered with no repercussions. She is now healthy and ready for a home. She is a beautiful, sweet, friendly kitty, about 6 years old. She is in a foster home now and seems to be doing OK living with their dogs and cats. She will meow and purr when she wants attention. She is a sweetheart and enjoys playing with kitty toys.
She seems to enjoy just being in a safe place and having regular meals and attention. Really, can you imagine what she went through during those months trapped inside the wall? We want nothing more than the perfect home for Eloise. She is a special cat that will find a place in someone's heart!
