My name is Emma, I came to the nowzad shelter in 2013 with my sisters Nila and Julie and our mom.
We had been cared for by a group of American soldiers but sadly they were unable to take us home when they left Afghanistan so they contacted nowzad to ask for shelter for us. My mom did get adopted by one of the soldiers who had taken care of us.
Nowzad took good care of us and we all got spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
I sometimes think about my mom and her new life in America and all I want is the chance to experience my own family and life outside Afghanistan.
I am a little nervous of new people but I do settle quickly. I am good with other dogs, I have not been tested with cats.
Could you be the family who will have the commitment to helping me settle into a new life?
