Fancy is a 10-year-old, 19 pound Cocker Spaniel. Fancy is shy at first in new situations, but once she's settled in she's happy as can be. She just needs to get acclimated first, which is very understandable! She does really well with other dogs of all sizes and we think she'd love to have dog-siblings in her future family. She also does well with gentle children and quickly makes friends with new people. Fancy tends to ignore kitties and has done well with the cats in her foster home. She is house-trained and even knows some basic commands.
Fancy does have a little limp in one of her hind legs from an injury she had as a puppy. It doesn't seem to bother her and she gets around fine - she just won't be needing any long walks or hikes. Short walks are great or she'll be content cruising around your yard and hanging by your side.
Fancy doesn't mind if you leave to run errands and has done well being left home alone, although she may bark a few times to let you know she'll miss you. She's a very sweet dog who has been in the same family for ten years. They now have to move and can't take Fancy with them and have reached out to POMDR for help in finding her a forever home.
