A veterinarian always examines our cats before they are offered for adoption. All cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, given rabies and FCP vaccinations, treated for parasites as a matter of course, spayed or neutered and provided dental treatment if needed.
I tried to go to the officer's club at Ft. Carson to listen to music. To my misfortune a fight over catnip broke out. Even though Colorado has legalized marijuana, the army does not turn a blind eye to catnip on post. Despite the mug shot, I am very friendly but calm. I was sent to a diversion program at the shelter and here I am. I am neutered, all tested, microchipped and up to date my shots.
We were founded in 2008 to find loving homes for cats, thus giving them a second chance at our shelter. We were the first shelter in Colorado Springs serving cats exclusively. We are proud to be a limited admission, adoption guaranteed shelter.
