Hello there. My name is Festus and I'd like to share my story with you. I am a one year old (at least I will be the first part of October 2016) male dog. I look like I am a combination of Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever and some other shorter dog like a Corgi or perhaps Basset. I was owner surrendered after I killed one of their chickens :( I didn't know I wasn't supposed to do that and they ran, so I ran after them.
Anyway, I was surrendered to Gail's Pets. I am making a lot of new friends here and having a ball running and playing with my penmate Bentley. I get along great with other dogs and cats, just no chickens!
I have a very even tempered personality, am super friendly, LOVE to go for walks, know how to sit and I LOVE tummy rubs! I would be a great dog for a family of one or many, and I love to play with kids.
Festus resides at a rescue organization in Arkansas. Please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss this dog. You can find our adoption application by going to www.Gailspets.org and clicking on the Adoption Application tab. The application, when completed and submitted, will be electronically sent to Gail’s email address. If you live on the East Coast, we work with a wonderful transport company that takes extra special care of the precious cargo that they deliver to anxious new families. Here is a link to their Route 1 schedule.
