Florencia (dob 4/27/16) was trapped as part of a TNR program. Although at 4-months-old she was old enough to act like a totally feral kitten she ended up bonding with her human captors. Even before she was spayed she started rubbing up against their hands and talking to get their attention. At her first showcase she kept looking into the eyes of anyone who noticed her. And while she had their attention she gave them a series of quick meows as if explaining something important to them. Not bad for a kitten that was born on the streets without prior human contact. Florencia seems hard wired for human companionship. At first appearance she looks to be solid black. However when the light hits her it's obvious that she has strong hints of tortie brown markings. When showcasing she will be at the Fremont Pet Food Express.
