Approx. 1yr Old Retriever/Lab Mix
Flynn approx 1yr old and 65lbs good with kids, other dogs From his foster Mom -
Flynn is such a great boy! He is adjusting well. So friendly and inquisitive, he's crate trained and housebroken. What a special guy!
Flynn is a big goofie boy. He is fed 4 Health Lamb and Rice formula. I feed all my dogs separately - never together. He does want to protect his food. I have to assume he was starved as most are when they come to us. He is crate trained and will do ok in outside kennel when needed. He is the most well housebroken male dog I have ever fostered! He does well with other dogs, his best buddy is a small pit mix that I am currently fostering at the same time. He will give chase to a cat, but I have cats with attitude and he ignores them.
Does well on leash - but will pull when he sees something of interest. Knows sit, down, shake and will play soccer with you. He did well with my grandson who is 5yrs old. Things that seem to bother him are lawnmowers, vacuum cleaners (barks), and gunfire (just wants to go inside).
I will say this, he is ready for his own family - he loves all people and dogs. Loves to melt in your lap and gives the best hugs ever! Lays at your feet while watching tv and will try to get in the bed with you. Loves to play with the other dogs with toys and has a strange fascination with bathtubs? Not sure why, it is what it is. Will get in mine in a skinny minute - water or no water, but won't get in the kiddie pools I have outside.? He loves to ride in the car and flirt with the other drivers and car passengers. He is a big ham and I just adore him. If we could get him on transport
before I go on vacation that would be great. Putting him boarding would just break his heart - he is dog that so wants to be with his human. Thanks you for helping this big boy - He so deserves it!
