Two year old Forest came from a severe hoarding situation where he had never felt the love of humans. He was trapped in an 8 by 8 room, living dreadfully with foot-deep feces. He had never seen the light of day and it left him very unsocial. We got him from a kill shelter with two other neglected dogs, who have fortunately found homes, so poor Forest is the only one from this horrendous situation waiting for a forever home. He needs a home to give him lots of love and socialization! He weighs 40lbs, he is a black and white Shepherd mix. Forest has just come home from a wonderful stay at 2nd Chance for Re-Entry. He was trrained to sit, lay, shake and was also potty trained and crate trained.. He was a very shy little guy but now can walk on a leash and even stay inside the house. New things bother him until he gets used to them. He is ready to go to his forever home. He would like a house with a couple of dogs, maybe a cat., and where there is not a lot of commotion. Will need time to adjust. But very good dog.
