Fradey Cat "likes people once he warms up and he likes to be talked to, sang to, and loves his fur brushed. He will purr and stretch and playfully swipe and gently bite the person who brushes him". He is between 7 and 8. At some point something really scared him, as he is still cautious. Will just take patience and love. "Initially he is afraid of people but he does grow to genuinely like his primary caretaker. He prefers adults to children and he panics around dogs. He did live with other cats in the same household for 5 years. Fradey Cat is a "talker," and when you sing to him, or brush him or even pet him, he purrs loudly. He meows at you when he wants something or if he gets lonely. He has beautiful medium-length fur, black and white, with a black spot on his nose. Six years ago he was found on the side of highway 73 in Evergreen with a serious wound". His rescuer kept him for five years but did not take him when she moved away. Rescuer kept him for 14 months but he did not get enough people interaction because of dogs in the household. Fradey is currently housed at the EAPL Cat Adoption Center at Chow Down in Evergreen and has been with us for almost a year. He is truly a sweet boy worth meeting.
