A volunteer writes: Do you believe in omens? I do! The park was full of shadows as I was trying to take photos of Frank, and all of a sudden the clouds parted ways and the sun shone down on Frank giving me enough light. Was someone up there trying to throw the spotlight on this great dog?! I''d like to think so! I was actually walking past Frank''s kennel when I looked down and saw his gorgeous face looking up at me with that I really need to go out look.... So, we did. Frank peed enough to raise the Hudson River by 5 inches, and pooped enough to fill a sinkhole. Yes, I know, TMI but hey, it''s important info as he''d clearly been holding it waiting to go out. Frank is initially bouncy on leash but settles down to a nice walk after giving me a delicious stand up hug. His tail never stops wagging, he shows off his ''sit'' with some coaxing and takes his reward treat gently. He''s gorgeously groomed, his markings are stunning, and his soft eyes are highlighted with some patches around his eyes giving him a rakish look. He''s very serious about this whole picture taking endeavor but when I put the camera away he''s in for some sweet cuddles and kisses. Fun, friendly, affectionate, smart and alert, Frank is hoping that his forever person or family will walk in the door today. We hope so too! Are you that lucky person?
