Frankie is a three-year-old Wheaton Terrier/Cairn Terrier mixed with who knows what! He was pulled from Pima Animal Care Center, scared of pretty much everything. He only wanted to run away. But now this awesome guy has spent the last month and a half with K9 Guidance To Inclusion going through a full training program. He has become a confident, focused and extremely thoughtful guy.
Frankie is aloof with strangers and more focused on his person than worried about letting everyone else pet him. Frankie is very dog-social and loves playing with big and little dogs. He is extremely intelligent, house broken, crate trained and knows how to be calm and relaxed. He would make a great hiking partner, but is also content to simply hang around the house.
Frankie would do best in a home with older, calmer children who can respect his need for space. He'd also make a great companion for a single person or couple.
