The last year has not been the easiest for Frida. Just before Christmas, she was returned to AC PAW by her family of three years for stress-related behavior problems. She went back to the foster home where she’d first been as a kitten in 2012, and she showed none of the problems. In the spring, she was adopted into what seemed like an ideal home, until her new owner turned out to be allergic, and returned her a few months later. She went to another foster home, but she got out and was loose for nearly two weeks. We thought we had lost her - a frightened, declawed, indoor cat having to fend for herself outdoors. But we found her! Now she’s in her original foster home, putting weight back on, recovering from a rough period, and waiting for a home that will not let her down this time.
Frida is a chinchilla soft, sweet cat who forms a close attachment to her person and who just wants to sit in a lap and purr. She lives with other cats in her foster home but doesn’t always seem comfortable around them. A quiet home with either no other cats or just one other would be best.
If you want to change Frida’s luck and gain a true companion, please fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire.
Frida is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is front declawed.
