Frisco is a handsome 2-year old gray Weimaraner. He LOVES humans and will do just about anything for human attention and affection. He’s had a rough start to life, and was poorly socialized with other dogs. Because of this, he’s not ready to have any full-time doggie siblings yet, but he currently has a weim female as a foster sibling, so it will be possible with time. He walks well on a leash with a training collar and is getting better every day.
Frisco has great house manners and loves to curl up next to his humans for a nice long nap. He’s a smart boy and has learned several commands. He also loves to go on walks and runs, and is overall a medium energy boy. He can be crated and will cry when you first leave, but quickly settles down to chew on his toys in the crate. He also loves to play fetch with a Kong or tennis ball. Because he can be pretty playful and clumsy, he would need to have older human siblings. He also loves to go for rides in the car and sleeps all night in his crate in the bedroom without a squeak.
Frisco’s ideal family would continue to work on his doggie social skills and help him learn to like the company of dogs as much as he likes people. His foster family says that he is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs they have had and will make one lucky family very happy.
