With his gorgeous, expressive eyes and big, floppy ears, its easy to take one look at Gecko and fall in love. Luckily, he isn't all looks and has a wonderful personality, too! Gecko came to Florida from the euthanasia list at a shelter in Alabama. We're not sure how such a fantastic dog could have ended up there. Gecko is just as sweet as could be; he loves human interaction and has gotten along very well with all of the dogs and cats in his foster home. He is completely crate-trained and house-trained, as well. Gecko is estimated to be around a year old. He is an active boy who loves to run around in the yard and play with toys, but once he's gotten a good romp (or a walk around the block, even) he will settle down on the sofa for movies. He loves all kinds of treats (squeeze cheese being his favorite!) and is a quick learner, so he would love an obedience or trick class where he could show off his smarts. If you are looking for an amazing companion for your family, Gecko just may be the one for you!
