Geena, a 1-1/2-year-old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix, who weighs 10 lbs, is a bouncy, fun-loving dog. She loves walks, hikes, and her toys. She gets along with most dogs and loves to play with her canine foster sibling. In fact, watching the two frolic is entertainment in itself! And you may want a ringside seat for those times Geena gets hit with the "zoomies." She will run and run, as if propelled by sheer joy! Sometimes Geena can bounce a bit too much and launch herself at your face. For this reason and because she can start to nip when she plays, she is not a good candidate for a home with young children. (She may even start to nip at grownup's ankles and has shown some fear of certain men.) She's a fast learner, however, and she's working on these behaviors, letting her energy be redirected towards her beloved toys. This smart little cookie is also house trained and knows how to use a doggy door. And yes, that which zooms also loves to snuggle. Geena will even cozy up with you in bed if you allow it.
