Georgia was adopted from EHR in 2013 but due to a change in circumstances for her family, she was surrendered back to EHR along with her "sister" Ava who has found a new home already. Let's help Georgia find her new family, too - she deserves to find her happy ending.
Georgia's new foster mom tells us that she loves to explore the backyard and is fascinated with all things that fly over her head including planes. After she is finished patrolling the yard, she lays down to rest, knowing that she's accomplished her job of keeping the family safe! At night she likes to watch TV and relax, very much like the rest of us do. She loves the company of her people and would do best in a home where she didn't have to spend all day by herself - she is a social creature. She sure does enjoy her afternoon naps though, much like the rest of us! :)
As for other dogs, Georgia likes them but would do better in a home with a large-to-medium sized dog. Look at the adorable photo of her on the bed with her 2 foster siblings! Little dogs are too much like the rabbits and squirrels she likes to chase. For that reason, we feel that she would NOT be good in a home with cats - too much fun to chase them!!
Georgia is a friendly girl who gets along with people, young and old. She is housetrained, too, so she's a good houseguest. Georgia would be a wonderful addition to almost any family & we're hoping to have her back in a permanent home right away. She is a great girl & deserving of that.
If you'd like to meet Georgia, please fill out an application at www.ehrdogs.org and be sure to ask for her by name - GEORGIA (MOPS)!
