My name is Ghost and I am a 4 year old, neutered male weighing 74 lbs. I am housebroken and crate trained.
My rescue was a dramatic one. My brother and I had been spotted roaming some TN woods for months last winter before he was fatally injured and I was finally trapped. Learning to live with a family in a home has been a new experience for me. I am not yet a confident dog and will need a patient and understanding owner to continue nurturing me.
I am ok with men, women and teenagers. I am timid around strangers and new people in my home make me nervous. I like other dogs and must have a canine sibling for confidence building. I currently live with cats and seem to enjoy their company.
I like being outside in a fenced yard and will run with the other dogs, but I have no interest in playing with toys or balls. I do like going for car rides and am still working on perfecting my leash skills.
I am a sweet soul with truly great potential. I just need a patient family of my own that is willing to put both the time and effort into helping me reach my potential. I am a special dog who needs a special family. Are you the family I am waiting for?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit Echo Dogs White Shepherd Rescue to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
