Gia was heavily pregnant and in a high kill shelter. She was pulled by Animal Advocates and had a litter of 8 wonderful puppies. From the first day, it was obvious that she adored children, always checking to see where they were and letting them handle her puppies hours after their birth.
All of her puppies have been placed and now it’s Gia’s turn to find a forever home. Gia is an about 4 year old lab-pit mix who does fine with the foster family’s 3 dogs, but she does not do well with cats and small critters, nor is she real fond of little puppies who aren’t hers.. Gia is small (32#), very low energy and is an easygoing dog. She is happy to romp in the yard and go on on a walk, and then hang out and watch TV or play with the kids. This good-natured girl is just the right size, just the right energy level and just the right temperament to fit into many family situations.
