I came to the shelter on 7/28/16 and I will be ready for adoption on 8/4/16 if I am not reclaimed. I weigh 60 pounds. The volunteers are getting to know me, so check back for updates! UPDATE 8/3/2016: I am 1.5 years old, spayed and heartworm negative!
What do you think of when you hear the word ginger? Spicy? Lively? A beautiful rusty brown color? Well those words describe our Ginger to a tee. Ginger was found on a country road close to Allendale about a month ago. She was brought into the shelter by a Good Samaritan who saw her and didn’t want her to get hit by a car. When no one came to claim her, we got busy readying this red fireball for adoption.
Ginger is obviously a pittie mix, and like most, doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is at best guess around 2 years old and is a solid 60 pounds. She still has a LOT of puppy in her, and is a rambunctious, fun loving, girl. Her style of play is rough and tumble, so she would make a great playmate for another active dog, or a perfect running partner.
She is now spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations, and has no other health issues.
