Meet sweet Pepper: (First picture) Handsome, young, 1 yr. old, black/gray/white tabby, male. Pepper is such a curious boy - he loves to follow you around the house and play, play, play. He'll come and hang with you on the couch when it's time to relax. He loves other cats and is especially attached to his pint-sized sister Ginger. Ginger: (Second picture) Sweet, young, 1 yr. old, speckled tabby, female. Ginger is a beautiful, spunky little girl - she loves to play with any kind of toy. Ginger loves a good snuggle on the couch - you know you've really made her day when she rolls over to give you her tummy for rubs. Ginger is small in size but likes to be the princess of the house.
Pepper and Ginger were brought into foster as scared 5 month olds living with a small feral colony just before the cold winter months. They've adjusted to the sweet life of a house pet beautifully. Both Ginger and Pepper come when you call their names, love to play with all types of cat toys, and love to hang with their foster family wherever they are around the house. TCR has brought Pepper and Ginger in for weekend adoption events and even into a cage at Petsmart but these two cuties are simply terrified in that type of situation. They hunker down in the back of the cage desperate for someone to take them home so they don't 'show' well to potential families even though they are two sweethearts.
The nurturing they get at their foster home is great they long for a family of their own. Ginger and Pepper would best fit with a person/family who understands that they will need time to develop trust with new people as they adjust to their new home before they'll open up to be the loving lap cats they truly are. Because they've bonded so strongly, they should go to a home together. Are you just the fit this super sweet dynamic duo have been longing for? Their foster family would be happy to answer any questions you have. Thanks!
