Ginger is a 10-year-old, 7 pound Yorkshire Terrier who is oh-so-sweet! She has a darling, curious personality and she trusts people so much. She's friendly with both new people and dogs. She was originally picked up as a stray who appeared to be blind from corneal disease. After being examined by our vet, the decision was made to remove her eyes because they were likely painful and already non-functional. She should be much more comfortable now - we are hoping someone special will be able to give this girl a loving forever home for the rest of her days.
This little girl is going to steal someone's heart. If you can just envision her all healed up and fully groomed, you'll see the little princess she's meant to be. She will quietly perch herself in a bed and curiously listen to the world go by or is happy to be picked up. She just needs some TLC from her loving adopter!
Ginger came to us from Monterey County Animal Services.
