Shy little Doxie mix, 9 years old, who needs patient people to get him learn to trust at his own speed. All he needs is that gentle, loving person willing to give a little guy a chance and he would appreciate you for the rest of his life! Are you that person? A volunteer took him home for the night to socialize him and he loves dogs! He curiously watched the dogs play and give their owner affection but was not completely comfortable when approached by volunteer; definitely time and patience is the remedy for this guy. This is truly a dog that needs "rescuing"!
He has come a long way at B&B - in El Monte would not leave the laundry room and now he sleeps in the big bed and socializes well - he is ready for his furever home!
Are you my furrever family?
For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section where very thorough instructions await. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, micorchipped, and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.
The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs! No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
