Glendy, neutered male, 1.5 years old, 36 Lbs.
You’d never believe how I got to know Glendy. My husband and I were driving to our parents’ home. On the busy road, we saw the car in front of us suddenly opened the back seat door kicking out a dog off the car and speeded away. The dog rolled over then rushed up to chase after the car without any hesitation. Before we figured out what was going on, tragedy occurred. The poor doggie was hit by another speedy car… We immediately parked the car and rushing toward the dog. His femur was injured by the strong impact. Couldn’t bare the pain, the dog was trembling and nearly fainted. My husband immediately took out his jacket covered up the dog and rushing to an animal hospital for emergency medical treatment. After thorough physical checkup, vet recommended to remove the femur fragment to keep his leg functioning. This is Glendy. A very submissive and sweet young dog being brutally treated to encounter the most sorrow moment in his life! After a long period of intensive medical care, Glendy recovered very well. Despite one of his legs is a little shorter than the others, he walks and runs like a normal happy dog without any problem or in pain. Glendy limps a little and needs constantly taking join supplements. Glendy is truly a sweetheart! He might be shy to meet strangers at the first time but warms up quickly. He is also doing very well with cats, showing no aggression to any of them. Glendy is a very good companion to other dogs and children. He seems to treasure what he has now and being very well behaved.
