* I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH DIABETES. AN ADOPTION COUNSELOR WOULD BE GLAD TO SPEAK WITH YOU ABOUT MY CONTINUED CARE *
I think if you spend even a few moments in the same room as me, you’ll understand why I am every volunteer’s favorite kitty to ask about! I was diagnosed as diabetic exactly one day after I was rescued from a large city shelter, and feeling pretty icky untreated. Now my good friends at Second Chance have changed me over to a special diet, give me insulin injections both morning and afternoon, and make sure I get a thorough comb through each day to help my coat stay healthy. I may be a little older than your average shelter cat, but I love to play with the kittens, and even let them bop me on the head sometimes! I give plenty of purrs in return for a little extra care, and my legendary trill is the best you’ll ever hear! Come meet me today and I know you’ll be glad you did!
