Ruff, ruff! Hi, my name is Gracie, and I am a 2-year-old, solid black female Pit Bull mix weighing 40-pounds. I came to the SPCA of Texas on July 29 when I was rescued from inhumane conditions by an Animal Cruelty Investigator. Before I arrived, I had been chained up outdoors my whole life so I've been learning how a dog should live since I've been here. I was in rough shape when they found me. My ears were extremely dirty, I had eye discharge, my coat was dirty, dry and dull and I was infested with fleas. After lots of TLC, I'm all better and ready to find my perfect home. I am full of energy and am very spunky. I love to be outside and play with all sorts of toys. Another thing I just can't resist is treats! I will shamelessly beg for them if I can smell one on you! If you're looking for a fun-loving gal to join you on long runs, I'm the one for you! I have been spayed, microchipped and am current on all age-appropriate vaccinations. If you have another dog at home, please bring them to meet me before you take me home! I'll be waiting for you!
