Introducing Gracie Lou Freebush! Gracie is an amazing blue tortie. About 2-3 years old. Gracie has a very remarkable story to share. Her foster Momma has pieced most of it together from neighbors and the previous owner of her home. About 3 years ago, Gracie showed up starving. The former owners fed her, but she was too wild to catch. Then about 2 years ago, the "colony" of her offspring emerged. Nine months ago, foster momma moved in and had nosey neighbors telling her about the stray cat problem in "her" yard. These neighbors did nothing for three years but complain...and who are still complaining... yes those type. Of the 11 in her family group, 6 are inside in the adoption "que". The remaining outside are fixed, except for 2 males! But to Gracie's story.... she is still very much a playful kitten. She loves other cats (her 4 grandkids are available and she is great with them....) and does rough house but her instincts kick in... She will suddenly run away.... But within moments she comes back! Same with humans. She loves head rubs and attention.... Shows belly, throws herself on the ground.... But then darts off .... Only to return in about 60 seconds...lol. Goofy describes her to a tee! This is a cat with potential! Every day you will see baby steps, and be so gratified you took the chance on her! Patience and understanding are all she needs, and a playmate (again her grandkids are available!) .... Caution: she will be a fatty if you let her! She still remembers starving, so she gobbles everything... even stealing the kittens' food. So be sure to monitor that. Feed her quality no grain wet food, and keep her playing fish pole! Any questions, just ask. She is currently with Foster Shannan. Stay updated on this sweet kitty and follow us on Facebook!
