Gretta (Courtesy Post)

Medium  |  Female

Baltimore, MD

Pretty, and very friendly, Gretta is 12 month old, spayed female, Beagle/Pit mix, weighing 45lbs. She has a beautiful chocolate colored coat with light brindle markings on her paws and face. Gretta is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and her heart worm test was negative. She is currently on preventatives. Gretta is a kissy, lovey, snuggle bug. She adores any affection and will flip over for belly rubs too. We think Gretta's new owners should consider obedience training, it is a fantastic bonding experience which establishes YOU as the alpha. Gretta has proven to be a strong little girl on walks, and she can be vocal when other doggies pass her by. If interested in adopting, please visit and click on "Adopt Here". You will find the adoption application at the bottom of the page. The adoption fee is $250.00. Please Note: 100% of all the adoption fees collected are used to care for the animals, and pay our ever increasing vet bill. We appreciate your interest in adopting from a rescue organization. We understand the desire to meet our "cuties" as soon as possible, but because we operate entirely out of foster homes, we need to limit visitation to approved applicants only. Once your completed application is submitted by you and approved by MASR, we will be glad to schedule your visit. This puppy has been examined by our vet, and provided with first vaccinations and initial preventatives. Please be aware that it is the opinion of this rescue group, in conjunction with dog behaviorists, that a young puppy benefits greatly with proper socialization. We will only place puppies in homes where they have the opportunity to be with someone all day, travel to work, or have special arrangements, such as Puppy Day Care, Dog Walker, etc. Puppies benefit greatly from Obedience Training - and we encourage you to check out . They offer a great discount for training of puppies coming from MAS Rescue! Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. NO guarantees are implied. Please note that small breeds are not well designed for families with young children as everything about them is more delicate and will require careful handling. Remember, adoption is a commitment for the lifetime of your new furry friend; dogs could live 15 years or more!! Please contact
