If there is ever a perfect dog - Hanna is it. She is great with the other dogs, (male and female), great with the cats and great with the grandkids (ages 6 year, 2 year and 9 months). She is very laid back and loves to be petted and loved on. She has not had one accident in the house since she got here and that's been about 1 1/2 weeks ago. She sleeps through the night - no anxiety about going in the expen. She is not food aggressive. She hangs with the other dogs when it's treat time. Hanna has integrated right into our family as if she's been here all along. I bring her into the yard for short periods of time and let her walk around to do her business and enjoy the weather. When in the house, she is allowed to walk around as she chooses.
I'm not sure if Hanna has been blind for a while or if it's recent with her eye removal. If she's walking around on her own, she is cautious. If she's on leash, her pace picks up and she goes into a good heel. Someone, at some point in her life, had loved this girl. She'll even beg when we eat dinner! If you're looking for an awesome companion - Hanna is it.
Hanna has been with me almost 5 months. She is the absolute sweetest dog. She has finished her hw treatment and is doing great. She gets along with all the other dogs, cats (could care less if they're around), small kids, all adults. She is laid back and goes along with everything. She follows me from room to room, and especially loves to be in the kitchen with me, waiting on a treat. She is so gentle when she takes it from my hand. It's been very hot and humid here in TN all summer long so she really hasn't had an opportunity to be outside for more than 10 - 15 minutes at a time. We've had some cooler mornings lately and she is loving the additional time outside. She'll roll in the grass and walk around the entire yard, just enjoying life. Hanna really is the perfect companion.
