Harley is a stunning fawn male fila, he is all fila and loves his family and to be loved. He has natural ears and tail and is a big guy with a heart. He is an amazing guy who needs a home with breed experience. He is a great dog but needs a home that can take it slow with him as he is going to be nervous going to a new home. He is not a social dog who is going to work in a home with people coming and going all the time. He needs a home where he can be with his family, bonded, and protect them from all the bad guys out there. He would be perfect for a family who lives in a rural area and wants to keep any strangers away or a home that isnt overly social. He does tolerate new people more then most filas, he is not aggressive with no reason, he just doesnt want to be touched till he knows who you are. So he would be a great starter fila for a family who is into the breed, but wants a soft one to start with.
Jack came to us with Harley.ey are very different dogs and would do best in very different homes. Jack and Harley were originally purchased from breeders as guard dogs for a towing yard at night. Jack was out and about with people and loved it. He loves the attention, loves to have a good time. When the tow yard was sold the dogs no longer had a purpose or a place to live. So their owner was looking for a new place for them to go.
Harley is a great dog for a family that has fila experience. He loves to go for walks, sit and hang out on the couch, or just be where ever you are. He is good with other animals, good with dogs, and good with the people he knows. He is good in the house and loves to just hang out. He did not have a lot of socialization when he was younger and really is a one family kind of dog. He does great with those he knows, and wants to make sure that you are always safe. He is a loyal friend who deserves a great home. For a fila he has rather mild temperament. He just needs a good loving home.
Harley is up to date, dewormed, flea treated and altered. He is house broken, crate trained and loves his family. He will take a few days to get used to a new family and people and during that time will need to be kept on leash or crated. He knows basic commands and the more he likes you the better he listens. He is a typical fila but has a soft temperament. He is aloof and indifferent but not outwardly aggressive. He needs a home that is not going to be overly busy or can manage him so he is not put in the wrong situation. He does well with dogs, cats, kids, and other animals. He is very smart and wants nothing more then to have a good family of his own.
We spend a lot of time trying to get to know the dogs in our program as best as we can. This means that we have spent time introducing them to dogs, cats, kids, animals, people and as many things as we can. We try to do as much as we can to evaluate them, both with in our group and if the dogs come from other rescues or shelters their evaluations as well. However dogs are individuals and will react to different situations differently. This means that we do not know how a dog will react in every situation. We give out our best guess based off information provided but the handler of a dog and the way they are introduced to a situation makes a huge impact. So if you have any questions of how to introduce a dog to your home, please let us know and we will provide as much info as we can from pamphlets to helping find a trainer in your area.
Our rescue aims to help dogs who are passed by and over looked by most rescues and people. We help the dogs who are in need of medical care, vetting, training and breeds that most will not help with. In most shelters if you are large dog, a big dog, or a male dog; from the moment you walk in you are on barrowed time. If you have docked ears or are a guardian breed your time was over before you walked in the doors. We aim to save these dogs and give them a second chance. Please help us save more lives by helping with our medical bills as they grow. This year has already been hard and we have many medical dogs in need.

Listed puppies as Mastiff-Doberman mix. Told the whole store of the parents, what they looked like, how the doberman accidently got pregnant with the mastiff.... 6 months ish later, we dna test the dog (due to doubting the breeds), to find it is 50/50 staffordshire terrier with doberman. Pit Bull is a harder sell. When confronted with this information, Trisha threatened to come take the dog back, and to put a restraining order on me. She didn't like that I told her she was still under investigation with the Sherriff of Yakima Valley's Plice Dept. The Sherriff told me they receive a LOT of complaints about this lady.
