Harper is 9 months old and weighs 18 lbs. Estimated DOB is Feb/ 2015. He was spotted for about 2 weeks running loose around Morningstar Church Rd and Casey Farm Rd. 2 other tiny dogs were with him; a 5 lb emaciated female Chihuahua and a 6 lb female terrier mix. Harper although just a puppy himself probably kept the 2 little female puppies safe. The area where Harper was dumped and left to die is known as "coyote land". In the past few months we have rescued 6 small dogs from this area. The coyot es are in such large numbers in this area because small dogs are being dumped and left to die.
Harper is playful, extremely loving, and simply makes a person smile. Since Harper is not leash trained ,he would need a home with a fence backyard. He loves the girls so a female companion would suit him just fine. Harper is not good with cats so a home without cats is best. His foster family are working with him to get him leash trained. He is already house and crate trained. Harper is truly adorable and will melt your heart the minute you meet him.
