SEX: Spayed Female
BREED: Terrier Mix
WEIGHT: 40 lbs
CAME TO ARF: Rescue from SC
PERSONALITY: Hope is a very special girl to all of the ARF staff members. She loves all people that she meets, loves to play fetch and has become our go to dog for our humane education visits. When she arrived here she had a difficult time walking and severe swelling in both of her front wrists. She has been seen by an orthopedic specialist, and while unable to determine the cause of the swelling, they were able to advise on treatment. For the last month she (and us) have been following all the protocols. At this time no further treatment is required. A lot of the swelling has subsided and she is now able to walk with only a mild lameness. It is possible that Hope may need further medical treatment if the condition worsens and she cannot be managed with medication. However, ARF is willing to support Hope''s needs at a veterinary specialty hospital of our choosing. She is a lovely girl with a heart full of love she is just bursting to share with a family of her very own.
