Look at this handsome guy! His name is Jackson and he has only one eye, as it had to be removed due to injury, and would love a home with no dogs. He arrived at CCHS in January 2016 and was noted to be a rescue that a permanent home could not be located for yet so now he has CCHS trying to help make that perfect family match for him! His personality is noted as friendly, affectionate, very confident, athletic, and also a lap cat. He is a pretty energetic guy too. He seems to be a bit of a loner kitty in that he appreciates getting all the affection from his people but isn''t into hanging out with other cats much. He would play with children ages 2-18 but he did not get along with a pug dog in his former family. He is noted as very loving and calm with both men and women. Additionally, it was shared that he captures hands/arms to prolong petting and would snag pant legs to keep people from leaving him. The favorite characteristics shared about Jackson are the intensity with which he focuses on you AND his sweet warble when he spots other cats crossing the barn yard. It was addditionally noted that his FAVORITE snack is blades of crabgrass. Won''t you stop by and spend some time getting to know Jackson and see if he would be a great, new addition to your family?!
