(SRC#1777) JACQUE's Story
JACQUE with this unique identification number: (SRC#1777) came into SRC care recently and is being prepared for adoption by a foster family who have gone thru our approval process. This was one adventure that JACQUE almost did not survive! This baby boy was found by one of our rescuers and they could not pass him by. This tiny one had been thrown away and he was nothing but skin and bones! JACQUE wanted love and attention -- food was a little harder to manage since he had gone without it for so long! This loving family helped him to learn to eat again and soon he was flourishing again. At around 8 pounds he is now doing much better! Scheduled for his neuter and all vetting once he picked up a little bit of weight this was done the week of 12-8-15 so now little JACQUE is ready for his permanent home. He is Heart-worm Negative, and now weighs a good 15 pounds which is an excellent weight for this adorable little pup! He is such a loving little baby and wants nothing more than to give kisses and play! He really enjoys being outside and playing with the other dogs so he is great with other animals. No problem with cats at all. Naturally he will be an inside dog as all SRC dogs are and he is well on his way to being completely house-broken. He will need another dog in his family that is also playful so that he will be able to work off some of his energy. He would be a great family dog yet he is a little small to adopt to a family with toddlers. Our age cut-off is at least 10 years old with children in the home. We at SRC just want him to have that loving home he deserves.
When ready for adoption this dog will be heart-worm tested (negative), de-wormed, vaccinations brought up to date, neutered if not done already, micro-chipped, examined fully by a vet and any necessary medical issues found by this vet will have been addressed. It is anticipated that this dog will be released for adoption by the same date as the completion of the Evaluation. The date of release of this dog is at the discretion of the SRC Core Team.
THIS DOG IS BEING FOSTERED IN MICRO, NC AND YOU SHOULD BE WILLING TO DRIVE TO THAT LOCATION IN ORDER TO PICK THE DOG UP THERE WHEN IT IS ADOPTED.

It is our worthy mission to assure that each dog goes to a loving and stable home whose family members will treat each rescued dog that SRC helps as a beloved member of their immediate family.
