JellyBean is not a SAFe Rescue kitty. Please read below for contact information on how to meet her.
Jellybean was adopted from the Humane Society three years ago when she was 7 years old. Nothing is known about her life prior to ending up at the shelter. She was adopted by a woman as a present for her elderly father. Jellybean was brought to our clinic with a very large wound on her neck which healed nicely but during that time it was discovered that she was diabetic. She is currently on insulin injections twice daily and no other medications. She has a great appetite and likes to play with fishing pole toys. Her owner has since gone into an assisted living facility and cannot have Jellybean with him. Jellybean is currently being taken care of by her owner’s previous care taker. He has gone beyond the call for Jellybean and has taken very good care of her. Jellybean has gotten very attached to her caretaker and would love to stay with him but unfortunately, he cannot keep Jellybean long term. We are trying to help Jellybean find a new, forever home that understands what she has been through and maybe has had experience with a diabetic cat (however, experience is not required). Jellybean thought she had found her forever home, please help us make her dreams come true! Contact Raynette at 253-588-1851 to discuss and set up a meeting for her.We are open for adoptions Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 12pm -7pm, and Mondays from 2pm-5pm.
Please refer to our website (www.SeattleAreaFelineRescue.org) for our adoption policies. You can also find fees other helpful tips about adopting from SAFe Rescue.
