Jerry is being fostered in Yorktown, VA* and is a hairless chinese crested who is just about as sweet, kind and gentle as he can be. He is polite, thoughtful and loves to run zoomies when he's in the mood. He also loves to cuddle.
Jerry was underweight when arriving in foster care but has filled out nicely with regular meals of premium dog food. The growth on his chest has recently been removed and was biopsied. Thankfully, it was benign!
He's good with respectful children but becomes a little nervous around chaos. Gets along great with other dogs and didn't seem phased by the one fat cat he met. He enjoys car rides and does okay on the leash.
*Jerry was surrendered with his brother Ben, who is also available. They do not need to be adopted together but we think Jerry would be happiest with another dog in the home.
*The transportation of a dog from foster home to adoptive home is the financial responsibility of the adopter. Transport by personal vehicle is generally preferable. Only applicants within driving distance (whatever that means to you) should apply.
