Sweet - Shy - Affectionate Jocey has had major upheaval in her life recently, and is ready for the stability of a loving family home. After having lived with one owner her entire life, Jocey found herself in the shelter when her owner passed away. Separated from both her special human and her feline sibling, and not sure what was happening, Jocey withdrew into herself and became very shy. However, in her foster home, with a little TLC and patience, Jocey has learned to trust again and to let humans into her heart once more. Her foster mom reports that she is a very sweet girl who took some time to warm up, but now loves to be petted and will gently meow for attention. She will roll over and give you a look of pure bliss when you scratch her head! She's not much interested in toys, but will happily hang out with you for hours. Jocey's experience with dogs is unknown, and as she's a little shy still, any introduction would need to be done very slowly, and it would be best if she lived with an older, calm dog. She has lived with other cats before, and so a multi-cat home would be fine. Older children who don't mind giving Jocey her space would also be fine, but she prefers a quiet, very calm house as she gets used to yet another living situation. Can you give Jocey a home that is forever this time? She'll be forever grateful if you do. When you scratch her head, she'll roll on her side and give you the sweetest little look. Jocey also think she's being really sneaky when she hides under the bed, but her tail sticks out and gives her away. She's very solid, with more to love, but runs around like she's a much smaller cat! She'll do anything for treats, as her adorable little love-handles attest.
