COURTESY POSTING: JoJo does not belong to Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio and is being posted as a courtesy only.
Meet JoJo. He is an American Bulldog who is about 7 years old, weighs 100 lbs., and was saved from a San Antonio high kill shelter with an hour to spare. His story is a long one. JoJo was found after being hit by a car, which led to the amputation of his tail. He had been severely beaten by a homeless man, was heartworm positive, covered in tumors and a weighed measly 78 lbs. He was nursed back to health by his loving foster mom who eventually adopted him out to a new home. Sadly, the adopting family did not hold up their end of the adoption agreement and his foster mom had to go save him one more time. He once again is looking for his very own forever home. JoJo would do best as an only dog, he does not like cats at all, but he does love all people including kids! He favorite things are laying on the couch or laying in your lap and sleeping while you rub his tummy!! More than anything else in the world, he loves to be cuddling with his human. JoJo is up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered. He is currently on heartworm prevention and his new person will be provided with heartworm prevention through January. JoJo is also crate and house trained, but he does not need to be crated when left alone as he is usually napping. If you think he is a match made in heaven, please contact us to find out more information. He is currently in San Antonio, Texas, and a local adoption would be great but transport anywhere in the U.S. is absolutely possible!
