How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon? - Dr Seuss
Our gal June started her new life in rescue back in December when she showed up in horrible shape. She had hardly any hair due to a non contagious mange. June is now a happy, healthy, hairy 2 year old brown pittie mix who weighs 40 lbs. She is completely house trained and has good house manners. June is very good with other dogs and she loves people of all ages and sizes. We do need to share that her least favorite book by Dr Seuss is 'The Cat In The Hat' She does not like them Sam I Am. Not in a boat not with a goat, not in a house not with a mouse. So no cats for June....ever period! In a cat free environment she is lovable and affectionate always willing to cuddle and snuggle. When it's time for bed she likes to emulate Linus by grabbing her blanket, jumping on the couch and making a little nest for herself. June is good on leash but does require some initial correction as she is so excited to go. She loves to run and play hard chasing a ball. She is an energetic girl who would make a good running partner with some additional training. While June is really good with kids we would suggest a family with kids over 10 simply because she can be over affectionate with trying to jump on little laps and giving big wet kisses. June will do best with an active family who will be willing to take the time and effort to give her proper exercise. She and her family would both benefit with some additional doggy training. This would help her to be the very best pup she can be and bonding would be that much greater (not to mention the fun it would be!). June is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. This sweet girl has waited a long time to heal and finally have the opportunity to find her forever family home. The time has indeed flewn and December became June. Now it's time for a great Dr Seuss happy ending. Will you be the best part of her story?
