(Available for adoption within 100 miles of Tallahassee, FL)
Junior is an approximately 1-2 year old Shih Tzu boy who came to CSTR along with Breezy (pictured, left) when his backyard breeder owner lost their home in the Louisiana floods. He is a shy boy at first, but if given the chance, once he warms up he is a sweet, snuggling, loveable guy who adores his "people" and wants nothing more than to be close to them. He and Breezy (see her profile) would love to be adopted together, although that is not necessarily required.
Junior is neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative and microchipped. He is learning how to walk on a leash, rides well in the car and is working on housetraining in his foster home. His ideal home would have at least one other friendly dog in it, and if that could be Breezy, that would be great! He would be fine in a home with children over the age of 8 years.
Adoption Fee: $300
(CSTR deducts $50 from the adoption fee when two dogs are adopted together, so the adoption fee for Breezy and Junior would be $250+$300-$50=$500)
A copy of the vet records will be provided to adopter at the time of adoption. This dog is fostered in the Tallahassee, FL area and adoption applications will be accepted from individuals living within a 100 mile radius.
