Kabir is about 6 months old as of September, 2016 and weighs around 25-30 pounds. She will not be a large girl when grown. She came to us with her brother Wadi from the country of Oman (west of Saudia Arabia). They were rescued by a group call Omani Paws because they were injured and needed to be taken to the Vet. In the meantime, their 4 siblings (still on the streets) were shot and killed by the police. There are no animal controls or government help in this country for homeless dogs. When a complaint is called in about strays, the police are sent to shoot all they can and not humanely. So, Omani Paws kept these two little sweeties until they could be flown to the United States. Both of these dogs have a sweet and loving temperament. Kabir is the first to become a complete social butterfly and Wadi is a bit shyer then she is but has a lovely, cuddly temperament when he gets to know you. Kabir gets along great with all dogs that she meets. Both are gentle dogs and love toys. They are crate and house trained. They are no trouble together and would make great companions for any type of active family. Or they can be adopted separately. Kabir is spayed and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
