Meet Kacy, a very friendly 3 year old, 80lb Rottweiler, who was appropriately nicknamed 'Goofball' by shelter volunteers for his silly personality and antics. Like a lot of rotties, Kacy is a "talker" and will be happy to regale you with stories of his past adventures!
Kacy found himself in the shelter because his previous family said he had too much energy. He would love to have an active human companion with whom he can run, hike and play fetch with. Kacy loves a good game of fetch and will be happy to chase the ball as long as you are willing to throw it for him! Kacy is also good with dogs so an equal sized (or larger) canine companion would be a great fit for him as he does love to romp around and wrestle. He lived with two young children in his previous home but due to his high energy level he needs to go to a home with children 8 years and up.
Kacy loves to be given attention and will let you pet him, rub his ears and give him a good scruffin! He is house-trained, crate-trained and rides well in the car. He knows many commands such as: sit, down, drop it, off, speak, roll over and is great at stay! What a smart boy! He walks well on a leash but will pull a little when he finds something worth sniffing.
Kacy is neutered, UTD on vaccinations and microchipped. If you would like to be Kacy's new best friend please fill out an Adoption Application and bring him home!
