Kade is a stunning Hound/Aussie mix. His unique coloring and cool blues eyes make him the talk of the dog park! This sweet, engaging puppy is a total goofball. He's around 7 months old and is looking for a special home; one that will allow him to enthusiastically chase butterflies to his heart's content, run off his puppy energy at the dog park, in the backyard or on a leash and then, without warning, collapse into a snuggly ball in your lap. Kade is hearing impaired but it doesn't bother him at all. He has been hard at work learning hand signals and doing great! He is dog friendly and crate trained. He is fostered in a home with cats and kids and he loves interacting with both! Kade has a broad assortment of dog toys in his foster home and loves to toss them around (and he can toss them really, really, high) and engage others in his play. He is not protective of his toys or his food - he shares both freely with other dogs in his foster home! He knows to sit for dinner and treats, and he sits patiently by the front door waiting for his after-meal walk around the neighborhood. Kade would make a phenomenal running partner for an active family. He is still a bit young to do any long runs now, but has been on short runs with his foster mom and other dogs and loves it! He has plenty of energy to go long, due to his herding breed and his nice long legs. His floppy ears and sweet face are perfect for kissing and he can't get enough! We will require a physical fence to keep this young man safe in his yard since he cannot hear you call him back to the house. Make this lovable, huggable ball of energy a part of your family today!
9/28: Kade is working hard strutting his stuff at as many events as his foster mom can get him to - one of these times he knows his forever family will be there!
