Karma is a shepherd/great pyrenees mix, born about March 7, 2014, so will be 2 years old in March 2016. She’s incredibly lovable, yet stingy with her kisses, though she loves to cuddle closely! She's decided her favorite treats are ice cubes or rawhides - she loves them both!
Karma will “dive bomb” when being shy or to get close to you. She loves to run and play with other dogs, though at times doesn’t realize her size. She already has learned basic commands, such as sit, stay, down, come, and shake. Karma loves to go for walks, and hanging outside to enjoy nice weather. She loves curling up inside her crate at night, but would be just as happy to share your bed or couch!
Karma is up to date on her vaccinations, is spayed and microchipped, kennel and house trained. For this very fast learner to reach her potential, she would respond wonderfully to gentle, consistent training! This sweet girl would really do best in a home with at least one friendly & compatible canine friend - so strong preference will be given to applications where she would have a built-in doggie companion! Due to her age and size, she will also need a yard with a bit of space!
If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Karma is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.
