Hi world!! Man, am I on top of it now. I had a bad time of it when I was surrendered to a kill shelter some time ago. I did nothing wrong and was confused about why this happened. But the nice people at the HSFC saved me and noticed I was limping. Well, that might be why I ended up in that shelter. I had a torn ACL. But that has been fixed and I am now rehabbing at a wonderful foster home, but I am looking to get out in the middle of this wonderful world soon. So, just look at me. I'm a stellar dude don't you think. I'm a smart dude too. I follow many commands - all the usuals - sit, down, go potty, but I'm also proficient at come, fetch, leave it and off. Super huh? I am high energy; love to play and run (well, run soon once I am totally healed). But I walk pretty good on the leash already (it's part of my therapy) and am house and crate-trained. No problem there. I love meeting up with other dogs and kids are great. And I will love you and cuddle with you if you will let me. So what do you say? You got room in your heart for me? I'm Keifer, and I'm a keeper. Please fill out that HSFC Adoption Application and my foster will let you know more about life with me.
