Meet Kirby! He's currently in a foster home and his foster mom told us all about Kirby.
Kirby is a playful and energetic young boxer. He likes to walk around the neighborhood as well as hike, he isn't too sure about water yet. He plays well with all types and sizes of dogs. He has done very well in foster homes with other dominant boxers. He could use some training for basic obedience; he is learning to sit and not jump up on humans when he gets excited. Kirby is a love bug and loves to snuggle with humans and other dogs after playing or eating. He had a lump on his head removed which was tested and found to be a cyst and not cancer. He has an issue with his jaw that causes him to eat slower than most dogs and enjoys a wide low sided bowl. Kirby is a sweet guy who enjoys children of all ages, he is currently with a family that has 3 children under 11 and has also tested well with a toddler. Kirby should be properly tested for cats, on the street when he meets cats he gets far too excited and tries to chase.
