Kito is a darling young red and rust dobbie boy. He has natural ears and a docked tail. He is a BIG boy, and is not done growing. He is going to be really handsome when he fills out. These guys came from a horrific situation and we know they will find a soft place to land. Kito is a doll and we adore him. He still has such a playful personality and has over come so much in his short life. He is bearly a year old! He is a doll and we know with the right home he will be the talk of the town!
Tovin, Angel and Kito came to us from a really bad situation. The family that they had was neglectful to say the least. The dogs were purchased as puppies. The owners were transient people who moved around about 9 mo of the year. During that time the dogs would be left home alone with no food, water, or shelter for days, weeks, or month. In the time that they have been leaving the dogs at this place of residence over 50 pets have died of starvation, or the elements. So much so that the neighbors watch and when they are gone will go over and feed the animals. Many times they have contacted animal control, but because of where they are they are not able to do anything as they are considered property. Sadly they are legally allowed to let their pets die, and nothing can be done! So these 3 were well on their way to the same fate. They were all so weak that when they came in they could barely stand on their own power. They were weak, wobbly, and barely able to lift their heads. These guys had a few more days and would have passed as well.
Kito is a playful guy but he is nervous at first with new people. He has not had much training so he needs a home that understands that he was barely surviving for his first few months! He is a great dog and is learning to love toys, does amazing with other dogs, and even has done well with cats and other animals. He is good with kids, but we suggest kids over 4 since he can knock them down, or dog savvy kids. He is a great dog and we know that with a little time and some love he would make a great forever dog in an amazing home. Dobie’s have such amazing personalities so we know that he is going to be an awesome one.
Kito is up to date, dewormed, and flea treated. He has been altered, vaccinated, and is working on gaining weight. He weighed less then 50 lbs when he came to us and is gaining weight slowly but we are doing it as healthy as we can. He is going to need a home that can continue to help him gain weight as he matures. He has not shown any issues but does need some training as he knew nothing before he came to us. We are working on house breaking, crate training, and basic commands. He does walk ok on leash, but we do suggest using a training collar as he was likely never on leash before he came to us. He is great with other dogs and animals. He is an amazing boy and we know that he will make someone a great forever pet.
We spend a lot of time trying to get to know the dogs in our program as best as we can. This means that we have spent time introducing them to dogs, cats, kids, animals, people and as many things as we can. We try to do as much as we can to evaluate them, both with in our group and if the dogs come from other rescues or shelters their evaluations as well. However dogs are individuals and will react to different situations differently. This means that we do not know how a dog will react in every situation. We give out our best guess based off information provided but the handler of a dog and the way they are introduced to a situation makes a huge impact. So if you have any questions of how to introduce a dog to your home, please let us know and we will provide as much info as we can from pamphlets to helping find a trainer in your area.
Our rescue aims to help dogs who are passed by and over looked by most rescues and people. We help the dogs who are in need of medical care, vetting, training and breeds that most will not help with. In most shelters if you are large dog, a big dog, or a male dog; from the moment you walk in you are on barrowed time. If you have docked ears or are a guardian breed your time was over before you walked in the doors. We aim to save these dogs and give them a second chance. Please help us save more lives by helping with our medical bills as they grow. This year has already been hard and we have many medical dogs in need.
If you would like to adopt this pet please send us an email. Applications will be sent to you via email. We do our best to get back to emails in 24 hrs. Our goal is to find the right fit for every home, not just any home!

Listed puppies as Mastiff-Doberman mix. Told the whole store of the parents, what they looked like, how the doberman accidently got pregnant with the mastiff.... 6 months ish later, we dna test the dog (due to doubting the breeds), to find it is 50/50 staffordshire terrier with doberman. Pit Bull is a harder sell. When confronted with this information, Trisha threatened to come take the dog back, and to put a restraining order on me. She didn't like that I told her she was still under investigation with the Sherriff of Yakima Valley's Plice Dept. The Sherriff told me they receive a LOT of complaints about this lady.
