Ladybug, (aka Lady) sought refuge from the streets by winning a temporary home in an East Dallas body shop, where she earned her name by demonstrating how a sweet and very ladylike dog should act! She’s gentle, loves to ride in the car, loves to play ball, chase the ball, sit for treats and loves, loves loves to sleep!
She walks well on a leash and is very well potty trained. She gets along quite well with other dogs but we don't know about cats. She enjoys children and is neutral to their sudden movements and squeals. She now shares her foster home with a Cocker Spaniel boy of 7 years of age and two adults. She has a couple of dry spots from being on the streets but overall she's healthy, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative & on preventative! Estimated to be about 2 years old (Sept 2016) and now weighs in at a healthy 67 lbs.
Spayed, House trained, Crate trained, Good with other dogs, Unknown about cats, Good with kids, Heartworm negative, on prevention.
If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet!
The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Ladybug is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so her ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
