Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A4983604 Ladybug | Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Puppy
A4983604 Ladybug is a soulful 10-month-old chocolate-black female Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull mix puppy who was found as a stray in Baldwin Park on August 16th and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Weighing about 55 lbs, Ladybug is a sweet girl with a fun-loving disposition. Although she is easily spooked by noise (nothing else) in the shelter environment (and likes to hide in your armpits to feel safe!), she is very loving. She enjoys cuddling and kissing everyone she meets, and she gains confidence from other dogs. She is ready to meet her forever family and begin the puppy training basics that will help her blossom into a confident adult dog. She will be happiest as an indoor pet and the newest member of an active family that will make exercise a part of her everyday routine.
