FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Laney is very playful and has a lot of energy but does exhibit some self control. She likes to run as fast as she can around the yard and then will settle. She is very quite when in the laundry room during quiet time. She is friendly and gets excited when meeting new people but responds quickly when told ‘Off’. Laney walks on leash but needs to learn not to pull. She is housebroken and rides well in the car. With continued training Laney will make an exceptional companion, being part border collie she is a very smart girl and needs a guardian equally smart to keep her engaged and learning. Laney needs a fenced in yard and another dog to play with to keep this active girl well behaved. She is a bit reactive towards other dogs on leash but is working on that with her foster mom.
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Laney was picked up as a stray in Vance County, when the shelter was due to euthanize her due to being overcrowded one of our long time fosters pulled her and saw the potential in Laney.
